REMINDER -- The NA's ten day processing window starts when the owner submits a request to the Pending Requests (NA In-Box). Requests are processed "first in first out" within the ten day window. Each request will be reviewed and processed by the NA as early as possible in the processing window. Requests that are incomplete will be returned to the Owner In-Box for correction and resubmission. After the request has been processed by the NA, an email will be sent to the owner and the completed request can be viewed on the website. Owners need to click on the "submit" button to move their request to the NA In_Box for processing.

MAYA-1 is a Submarine Cable System providing service from Hollywood, Florida on the southern tip of the United States to Tolu, Colombia on the northern tip of South America. Utilizing Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Direct Wave Access (DWA) with Erbium-Doped-Fiber-Amplifier (EDFA) technology, MAYA-1 has a system design ring capacity of 50G of SDH Capacity and 1910G of DWA Capacity. It is a collapsed ring system with semi-passive branching units and has a total length of 4400 km. It provides service to the United States, Mexico, Honduras, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia.
